A special Little Girl

I will never forget meeting the Lannings. Mark had been asked to speak at a youth retreat for North Point Youth over three years ago. While we were getting out of the car, Brent came up and started talking to us. He told us about himself and his family. One of the first things we found out was that he and Mark had the same birthday! I then heard him say something about adopting, and adopting from China. At that time we were heavily looking into, and pursuing an adoption from China. I will save that story for another post. Anyway, that was all I wanted to talk about, and I really wanted to sit down and talk forever to his wife (Tammy). I was so ready for Sunday so I could talk to her, and introduce myself, and hear all the details of their adoption.

I will never forget their adoption story, or the sight of Tammy running down the stairs with a scared little 8 month old straight from China. All we could do is cry. Felicity holds a very special place in our hearts. She is Marks girl. Tammy was with us through our adoption, and we could not have done it without her, since she was our notary for everything!!!

While we were in Asheville this weekend we got to see the Lannings....here are a few pictures.....
